CONTACT USCarlsbad Chiropractor Dr. Tom Tatasciore is a UCLA graduate, and remained in the area to provide care. Since 1990, he worked with some of the best doctors and hospitals, while building large practices that serviced thousands of patients. When COVID hit, his priorities shifted, and he decided to fulfill his long-time dream of becoming a doctor in his own home town.
After moving his family to Carlsbad, Dr. Tatasciore found office space in a small medical building, and is focused on building his new client base. His Three Pillars of Care program addresses more than just physical pain, it also provides patient education, and assesses internal systems that might be affecting other areas of the body.
With a "tool bag" full of traditional therapies and ancient healing techniques from all over the world, don't expect the usual bone-cracking techniques you'll find at other practices. Dr. Tatasciore has developed a unique approach to pain relief, and better overall health and wellness.
He also offers functional medicine, which identifies and addresses the root cause of disease.

Over the years, Dr. Tatasciore has received many accolades for his professionalism, thoroughness, and knowledge. He's received just as many for his caring and compassionate nature, his patience, and how approachable he is. He truly cares about his patients, and it shows.
He spends time listening to patients, allowing them to tell their story in their way. With very accurate diagnoses and detailed explanations of their problems, people understand what's going on in clear terms. They also appreciate being given a choice of solutions. He goes the extra mile, also empowering patients to take care of themselves outside the practice.
Dr. Tatasciore likes to say he's not trying to fix everything with a chiropractic hammer. He gives patients the tools to take good care of themselves outside the office, so they feel well-equipped, not just by coming in to get the care they need, but also with the things he provides them with outside of the treatment visits.

Growing up working construction with his father, Dr. Tatasciore learned two basic principles, which have guided his life—"Always leave things better than you found them" and "There's always more than one solution to any given problem that's in front of you." This reminds him to think outside the box when new patients come to the practice after trying other therapies without success.
